As a first-generation Filipino American, Chino started his first company, an app publishing studio, at the young age of 19 from his parents’ basement in Spokane, Washington after dropping out of the University of Washington, due to the prospect of daunting student debt.
He self-funded the company with money earned from his job as a Stanley Steemer Carpet Cleaner. His company has created over 160 mobile apps, and at its height, they had over 50 Top-Charting titles on App Store with over 5 million total users, resulting in the sale of the company in 2017.
He has been mentioned and featured for his entrepreneurial work in Forbes, Adweek, The Next Web, Yahoo! Finance, The Huffington Post, Inc Magazine, and more. Chino was also selected to star in Acer’s global #MakeYourMark campaign.
Chino advises early-stage companies (he has advised two companies to date, both to exit) and angel invests (notably: VinoVest, and UnlimitedTomorrow, a company backed by Tony Robbins).
Currently, Chino is the Founder/CEO of Keyring, a subscription sharing and bundling service, that was recently featured in Forbes here.
